RYAN WORKS OUT
The Associated Press reports Boston College QB Matt Ryan worked out at his school's Pro Day Tuesday, March 18. Ryan threw 52 passes, completing 48 of them, with three drops and one that was overthrown. He did not run, instead keeping his numbers from the 2008 NFL Scouting Combine.

GREEN STILL TOO SLOW
NFL Network's Mike Mayock reports free agent William Green showed up to the Boston College Pro Day in "great shape," but ran a 4.85 forty. He did 25 bench press reps of 225 and had a 42” vertical jump.

GATOR STATES CASE AS TOP WIDE OUT
University of Florida WR Andre Caldwell worked out at his school's Pro Day Tuesday, March 18. Caldwell had a 36 1/2-inch vertical jump and completed 18 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press. He measured in at 6-foot 1/4 and 205 pounds.

MORE ON DORSEY INJURY MYSTERY
NFL.com's Adam Schefter reports LSU DT Glenn Dorsey has not undergone knee surgery this offseason. Dorsey has reportedly been seen running in preparation for LSU’s Pro Day March 26.

SYRACUSE SAFETY TURNS HEADS
Christopher Mogollon, of the NFL Draft Bible, reports University of Syracuse SS Dowayne Davis worked out at his school's Pro Day Tuesday, March 18, according to his agent. Davis ran a 4.40 40-yard dash, a 4.41-second 20-yard shuttle, a 6.80-second three-cone drill, had a 34-inch vertical jump, a nine-foot, 11-inch broad jump and completed 21 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press.

STEELERS INK CENTER
Steelers signed C Justin Hartwig to a two-year, $4 million contract. NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports Hartwig got $975,000 to sign.

HALL OFFICIALLY A RAIDER
DeAngelo Hall has agreed to terms on a seven-year, $70 million deal that will confirm his trade from Atlanta to Oakland, according to ESPN.com.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW: AHMAD CARROLL
Former Packers first-round pick Ahmad Carroll is currently playing for the Arena League's Orlando Predators.

VINCENT’S RUN IS DONE
Troy Vincent's term as President of the NFLPA has expired.Impact: Vincent has been out of the league since 2006, so he likely wouldn't be eligible for another term. Titans C Kevin Mawae is in line to replace him. Vincent could eventually succeed NFLPA Director Gene Upshaw.

UNFORTUNATE DEATH IN C. FLORIDA
A spokesman for the University of Central Florida says a football player has died after participating in offseason conditioning drills on campus. Ereck Plancher, a freshman wide receiver from Naples, Fla., was pronounced dead shortly before noon Tuesday at a hospital, says school spokesman Joe Hornstein. Hornstein says Plancher apparently took a knee during conditioning at the school in Orlando, Fla. He became unresponsive and was taken by ambulance to the hospital, Hornstein said.
