NFL DRAFT BIBLE DAILY DOSE 3/18

GLENN DORSEY MYSTERY
The Jacksonville Jaguars website claims there's reported "suspicion" among NFL people that LSU DT Glenn Dorsey underwent knee surgery recently. LSU holds its Pro Day March 26th.

DENNIS DIXON UPDATE
University of Oregon QB Dennis Dixon (knee) did not work out at his school's Pro Day Thursday, March 13. Dixon is still recovering from knee surgery. He plans to work out Thursday, April 3. Dixon measured in at 6-foot-3 1/4 and 195 pounds.

JAKE DELHOMME UPDATE
Word is that Jake Delhomme's recovery from Tommy John surgery is proceeding very well, according to the Charlotte Observer. He's expected to be ready for training camp, but clearly the status of his elbow will need to be watched closely heading towards next season.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW: WILLIE GREEN
Former Browns RB William Green says he's got his life back together and wants another chance in the NFL. He says he's quit smoking marijuana and is down to 215 pounds. Green, 28, was out of the league the past two years. He'll work out at his alma mater Boston College's Pro Day Tuesday.

DJ HACKETT FINDS A HOME

ROBERT MEACHEM UPDATE
Robert Meachem has been medically cleared to participate in the Saints' off-season training program, according to the New Orleans Times Picayune. Payton stated, "Medically, he's been cleared. I've been encouraged with the feedback I've gotten with the way he's running. I think any lingering effects from his knee from a year ago have all but disappeared. That's encouraging. I think the biggest thing for Robert a year ago was just being held back, not being 100 percent. He's cleared and full speed ahead."

DENVER DEALS OL TO TEXANS
The Texans picked up Chris Myers from the Broncos in a sign-and-trade deal on Monday, according to the Rocky Mountain News. The Broncos will get a sixth-round draft pick, while Myers' new contract is for four years and $11 million.
